| Engineer Equipment Engineer equipment was used for a variety of tasks; including construction, demolition, the breaching of obstacles, and other related duties. In addition to units of the Canadian Engineers, Royal Canadian Engineers, and Canadian Military Engineers, specialized equipment was also employed in other units whose duties included engineering tasks, such as the pioneer platoons of infantry battalions.
