Gas Mask Glasses - Second World War

While soldiers wearing glasses were likely excluded from the initial recruiting efforts for the Canadian Active Service Force in the Second World War, there nonetheless existed the necessity of providing spectacles for those soldiers who needed corrective devices for their eyesight. The issue spectacles were produced with the requirement that they had to not interfere with the fit of the respirator.
