The letter below was sent by George Marrs to his wife in Vancouver; Marrs served with the British Army in Normandy; this letter was sent home from a German prison camp (an Oflag (Offizierslager) was a camp designed for officers - Other Ranks were kept in separate camps (Stalags).)
