7th Canadian Division Formation Insignia The Home Divisions in the Second World War came to adopt distinguishing patches similar to those worn overseas; each was composed of two colours.1 The 7th Division combined the colours of the 3rd and 4th Divisions. The wide end of the French-Grey triangle was always worn facing the wearer's front.2
