The 3rd
Prince of Wales' Canadian Dragoons was a regiment
of the Canadian Army that originated as a cavalry regiment
in the 19th Century and was later amalgamated with an
infantry regiment and elements of the Canadian Machine Gun
Corps to create a new regiment of infantry with a machine
gun tasking as part of the 1936 reorganization of the
Militia.
