The Rhineland

The Rhineland was a Battle Honour granted to units participating in the Battle of the Rhineland, a phase of the North-West Europe campaign of the Second World War. The fighting in the Rhineland included Operation VERITABLE and its follow-up, Operation BLOCKBUSTER. The fighting in the Rhineland began with the launch of VERITABLE on 8 Feb 1945, and lasted until 10 Mar.
